This unique plantable card is handmade in the UK using 100% recycled materials and embedded with a variety of all edible wildflowers & herb seeds.
Once your loved one has enjoyed the lovely message, they can plant their seed card to grow their own botanical garden! It’s not only good for us but it’s great for our bees too.
This is an artisan product and like us, no two cards will be the same. The card is left blank inside for you to add your own message and planting instructions are printed on the back. The seed card and a kraft brown recycled envelope comes with zero plastic and is sent out in hard back envelope to protect it on its journey.

 Size (folded): A6 – 148 x 105 mm (5.8 x 4.1 inches).

If you would like to send your card with a printed message directly to the recipient, please select this option and provide us with their address details.

Planting Instructions

Planting Instructions - Plantiful Paper Company

Step 1. Soak the seed paper in water, this allows the seeds to swell which aids germination.

Step 2 . Plant a single layer of the seed paper flat in a pot (or outside in early Spring or Autumn) and cover with a thin layer of potting soil in sunny spot.

Step 3 . Water regularly ensuring the seed paper is kept moist until the seedlings are established.

Step 4 . Watch as the seed paper grows!

This may take up a few weeks.

Tips

  • For the best results keep the seed paper moist until plants are established. If the paper dries out and hardens, the shoots of the newly germinated seeds will not be able to push through. Keeping the paper soft will give you the best chance of turning your card into beautiful blooms.
  • Plant in a pot indoors all year round by placing near a warm sunny window then transfer outside once the seedlings are established in Spring, once the frost has passed.
